About
Last updated:
World Chances is a free website for students and young people looking for opportunities abroad: scholarships, fellowships, internships, conferences, training courses, youth exchanges, volunteering, competitions and youth grants. It is published in English and Russian.
What we do
- We list programmes from official sources only: governments, universities, international organisations and their official catalogues.
- We write our own summaries: who can apply, what is covered, how to apply and the deadline. We do not copy the sources' text.
- We link every listing to its official page, which is the only place where you apply.
- We track dates: closed calls are marked, and annual programmes show when the next round is expected.
- We publish practical guides on motivation letters, documents, language tests and avoiding scams.
Who it is for
Anyone looking for international opportunities, and especially readers from countries where good information in their language is scarce, such as Central Asia. Our pages by nationality list programmes that name your country.
How we work
Listings are drafted with the help of AI tools from the facts in the official source and are reviewed by a person before publication. Our editorial policy explains the details.
Free for applicants
We never charge applicants and never sell "guaranteed" places. The site is funded by advertising through Google AdSense. We are not affiliated with the programmes we list and have no influence on selection.
Who runs the site
The site is run by First Byte LLC (Tajikistan). You can reach us through the contact form.
