Youth exchange

Youth exchanges abroad

In a youth exchange, groups of young people from several countries spend one to three weeks together working on a shared theme through workshops, discussions and outdoor activities. Exchanges are usually organised by youth organisations, which also select the participants from their own country, so the way in is often through a local organisation rather than an individual application. The listings show the dates, the place, the countries taking part and the age range. Costs are frequently covered by the funding programme, but check the travel rules of each call.
