The Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarship Programme helps outstanding students from selected developing countries pay for postgraduate study abroad when they have no other means.

This programme runs every year; dates usually move little from one round to the next.

Who can apply

Citizens of the eligible countries, including Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, with an excellent academic record, a first degree, real financial need and admission to a reputable postgraduate programme. Preference goes to applicants under 30.

What is covered

The award helps with tuition and living costs. It is half grant and half loan, and the loan is repaid after studies. Doctoral study is supported for up to two years.

Get the application form from the Aga Khan Foundation office in your country or the official page, and return it with your documents before the deadline.
