The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program brings experienced professionals to the United States for ten months of non-degree study, leadership training and professional work at a US university.

This programme runs every year; dates usually move little from one round to the next.
Who can apply
Mid-career professionals from eligible countries with a first university degree, at least five years of full-time work experience, a record of leadership and public service, and good English. Applicants with a lot of earlier time in the US are not eligible.
What is covered
The fellowship is fully funded: tuition and fees, a monthly stipend, travel to and from the US, health cover, a professional affiliation and English training if needed.
How to apply
Apply through the US embassy or Fulbright Commission in your country during its call. Shortlisted candidates are interviewed.
Deadline
The 2027-28 calls closed in mid-2026. The next call is expected around May to July 2027 through your US embassy.
