Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals (SISGP)

The Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals (SISGP) fund a full master's degree in Sweden for working professionals from selected countries who want to drive sustainable development at home. Scholars also join the SI Network for Future Global Leaders.

This programme runs every year; dates usually move little from one round to the next.
Who can apply
Citizens of the countries on the SI list (Uzbekistan was added from 2026). You need at least 3,000 hours of work experience, proven leadership experience, and an application to an SI-eligible master's programme starting in autumn. You must be liable to pay tuition fees in Sweden.
What is covered
The scholarship is fully funded: tuition fees, a monthly living allowance, a one-off travel grant and insurance.
How to apply
There are two steps. First apply to an eligible master's programme at universityadmissions.se in the October-January round. Then send the SI scholarship application in February with your CV, motivation and proof of work and leadership experience.
Deadline
The 2027-2028 dates are not official yet. Master's applications usually run from mid-October to mid-January, and the SI scholarship window is in February.
