The TaiwanICDF International Higher Education Scholarship funds full degrees at partner universities in Taiwan for students from Taiwan's partner countries in Asia-Pacific, Latin America, the Caribbean and parts of Europe and Africa.

This programme runs every year; dates usually move little from one round to the next.

Who can apply

Citizens of TaiwanICDF partner countries who meet the partner university's admission rules (often proof of English) and do not hold another Taiwan government scholarship. There is no age limit. Central Asian countries are not on the list.

What is covered

The scholarship covers return airfare, dormitory housing, tuition, insurance, textbooks and a monthly allowance.

How to apply

Choose a programme from the TaiwanICDF list and apply online to both the university and TaiwanICDF during the window.

Deadline

The 2027 round is expected to run from December 2026 to mid-March 2027. Results come around June.
