The UNDP Internship Programme gives students and recent graduates practical experience in international development at the United Nations Development Programme, in New York, Copenhagen and country offices around the world.

Who can apply

Students of any nationality in a master's or PhD programme, in the final year of a bachelor's, or who graduated recently and can start within a year of graduating. You need good English; some offices also need French, Spanish or a local language.

What is covered

Interns receive a monthly stipend whose rate depends on the duty station. Internships last from about six weeks to six months.
