Volunteering in agriculture and food can mean working on small farms, supporting sustainable food projects, running community gardens or helping with food education and distribution. Placements relate to agriculture and food alongside environment and climate, social inclusion, education, arts and culture, and health and medicine. Opportunities are available in Uganda, Portugal, Guatemala, Serbia, Spain, Greece, Italy and Costa Rica for young people aged about 18–30. European Solidarity Corps placements usually cover travel, accommodation, food, insurance and pocket money.
